Etoniah Rosemary Census
Every fall, the Florida Forest Service takes a census of all known Etoniah Rosemary. All known plants from the year before are checked and likely habitat scoured for new plants. The Santa Fe Audubon Society has a tradition of providing substantial volunteer labor. The process involves one person putting a pin flag on each plant they find and a second person coming behind and counting as they collect the flag.
